Scheduled to begin in the Fall of 2026, brush cutting and small tree removal will commence at the site of the Glen White Coke Ovens. This project requires volunteers to assist with the cutting of small trees and underbrush so that larger trees can continue to grow and the coke ovens can be more visible from the roadway year-round. This project is possible thanks to the Altoona Water Authority.

With a busy summer, the Altoona Water Authority Land Management Department stated that a meeting approving the project will be held in the Fall of 2026.
